Leigh & Greg

Relaxed, alternative city wedding at The High Field, Birmingham

Greg and Leigh had the most beautiful chilled-out wedding, one of those dos where it feels like everyone has known each other for years already.

The pair did a 'first look' at The Edgbaston Hotel before getting the day kicked off in full. I love this new way of doing things, it’s great to see couples getting more comfortable celebrating their day exactly how they want and leaving some of the old traditions behind.

After a charming ceremony at Birmingham Registry Office, we headed back to The High Field, Edgbaston for the reception. Sunshine, great food and traditional Irish tunes from Bob Stokes made for a truly unforgettable day.

City weddings make for fantastic photo albums, there's always so much character and charm and this one didn't disappoint. Not to mention it was the perfect spot to unite a proud Wolves fan and an Aston Villa fan.

Leigh & Greg also get my award for best favours! They gave every guest a book unique to them with personal notes written in the covers, it had everyone in stitches or tears.
